“Stop the Hate”: Interfaith Vigil Against Hate Violence

Sponsored by St. Max Social Concerns Committee in collaboration with Pocono Pines Interfaith Community, “Stop the Hate”” Interfaith Vigil Against Hate Violence event took place at St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish on October 15, 2017. Lehigh Dialogue Center had the honors of taking part in this event.

The goal of the event was to call people of faith to raise a united voice against hate violence. It was noted during the event how people need to speak out when people are attacked due to their race, religion, sexual orientation, nationality, disability, gender, or economic status. It was also pointed out how important was to act nonviolently as agents of healing in their communities.
